Patting my own shoulder
It is now official, I have managed to get through my first week here and I'm both happy and exhausted. The weather has obviously been a lot warmer than what we have in Finland, the temperature rarely has even dropped below zero, but it has been raining almost all week, so I haven't really felt like exploring places.
My experience in Metro has been fun so far, the people are nice and took me under their wings instantly. At first, I got shown around the place and introduced to everyone, and I also got myself a fancy work sweaters and a vest, though I really do prefer just the vest. But for a few days it was mainly just me sitting and watching people working, and I did get to try some of the things myself and it was nerve wrecking. But I survived and at the end of the day that's all what really matters.
The main reason I couldn't really do anything at first was because we struggled to get my ID's to work so that I could start with eLearning. And I finally received them at the end of Thursday, so on Friday I was finally able to get started.
On Saturday I took a little bus ride to Aachen to walk around, see places and do a little bit of shopping as well. The weather wasn't really the best and there were so many people I didn't feel comfortable taking too many photos, just cause I feel uncomfortable with the thought of taking pictures with people in them without their permission.
I will update y'all next week, until then stay frosty.
(I did manage to remember to take a few photos so I'll just leave them here๐)
