Patting my own shoulder

It is now official, I have managed to get through my first week here and I'm both happy and exhausted. The weather has obviously been a lot warmer than what we have in Finland, the temperature rarely has even dropped below zero, but it has been raining almost all week, so I haven't really felt like exploring places.

My experience in Metro has been fun so far, the people are nice and took me under their wings instantly. At first, I got shown around the place and introduced to everyone, and I also got myself a fancy work sweaters and a vest, though I really do prefer just the vest. But for a few days it was mainly just me sitting and watching people working, and I did get to try some of the things myself and it was nerve wrecking. But I survived and at the end of the day that's all what really matters.

The main reason I couldn't really do anything at first was because we struggled to get my ID's to work so that I could start with eLearning. And I finally received them at the end of Thursday, so on Friday I was finally able to get started.

On Saturday I took a little bus ride to Aachen to walk around, see places and do a little bit of shopping as well. The weather wasn't really the best and there were so many people I didn't feel comfortable taking too many photos, just cause I feel uncomfortable with the thought of taking pictures with people in them without their permission.

I will update y'all next week, until then stay frosty.

(I did manage to remember to take a few photos so I'll just leave them here๐Ÿ‘‡)

So for this first one, it mainly took it cause of how almost funny and kinda shocking it was to see alcohol right next to Red Bull.

I don't really have anything to say about this one, just felt like taking a picture and so, here it is.

What I have noticed is that there's graffiti basically EVERYWHERE, sometimes it's actually like artwork and sometimes it just kinda ruins the vibe, but that's just how it is sometimes. I mean it's not that different from how it is back home.
