Patting my own shoulder

It is now official, I have managed to get through my first week here  and I'm both happy and exhausted. The weather has obviously been a lot warmer than what we have in Finland, the temperature rarely has even dropped below zero, but it has been raining almost all week, so I haven't really felt like exploring places.  My experience in Metro has been fun so far, the people are nice and took me under their wings instantly. At first, I got shown around the place and introduced to everyone, and I also got myself a fancy work sweaters and a vest, though I really do prefer just the vest. But for a few days it was mainly just me sitting and watching people working, and I did get to try some of the things myself and it was nerve wrecking. But I survived and at the end of the day that's all what really matters.  The main reason I couldn't really do anything at first was because we struggled to get my ID's to work so that I could start with eLearning. Hiya, gals and pals and fellas!  So basically I have been graced with the opportunity to go abroad for an internship as a portion of my studies, and now my journey is about to begin. In just a few days I'll be hopping on an airplane with Germany as my destination and to say I'm nervous would be an understatement. I'm actually terrified yet excited at the same time and I can't wait to see what this adventure has in store for me.  This will be the first time I'm travelling anywhere on my own and it's safe to say I may be overthinking and worrying a bit too much, but that's okay. I like to think my overthinking is just preparing me for any and every scenario that I might face, and personally I find it kinda comforting.  But yeah, I really can't wait to see what's to come of this experience and I just really wanted to share that with anyone who might be reading this 😜 Anyway, I'll be back after I get to settle down at my accommodation in Germany, un...
